There are different types of fever. Many have a fever with chills. Fever comes when someone leaves again. Often there is a mild fever, which lasts for several days.

 For a long time (more than two weeks) the body may have a slight fever.

If you have a fever for a long time, you need to get a detailed history from the patient to know the underlying cause, when the fever comes, how it comes, how it goes, if there is high fever in any part of the day, if there are any other symptoms with fever.

For example: Chronic low-grade fever, comes in the afternoon, stays at night, decreases in the morning, fever gets better with sweating, with cough lasts for more than two weeks, sometimes blood goes with cough, body weight decreases, there is loss of appetite, TB patient If he has a history of living with, then it is suspected that he has tuberculosis.

Lymphoma is suspected if there is a history of night sweats, loss of appetite, itching in the body, history of jaundice, swelling of glands in different parts of the body with a long history of fever. Upper abdominal pain on the right side with a slight fever, occasional history of thin stools, examination, jaundice, if the liver is found to be large, it is suspected that there is an abscess in the liver. Fever with shivering, fever with sweating, foul-smelling yellow cough is suspected to be an abscess in the lungs.

With chronic fever, weight loss occurs even if appetite is normal, history of living in the place where the fever occurred, history of living on the floor in a mud house, history of having a cow house next to it and anemia, kala fever is suspected if there is a wheel on the surface of the stomach.
