How Is Plastic recycled- It is often said that plastic can be recycled. But in reality the matter is not so simple. Just think, there is a difference between a water bottle and a shampoo bottle. You can understand it only if you take it in hand. But nowadays there is no reason to think that it is recyclable just by looking at the three arrow marks on the label of the bottle. The main problem is the method of recycling. Different types of plastics require different types of recycling methods.

So you need to have a good idea about the type of plastic. Let's take a look at the different types of plastics and how to recycle them:

PETE plastic

This plastic is commonly used in water bottles or soft drink bottles. Such bottles can be easily recycled.

HDPE plastic

High-density polyethylene plastic is commonly used in shampoo bottles, grocery bags. They weigh less and are stronger. They can be cleaned and recycled.

PVC or vinyl

PVC is commonly used to make trays, plates, brushes, or other plastic products. It is usually not easy to recycle them. Even long-term use can be harmful to health.

LDPE

This type of plastic is commonly used for bread bags, or food wrappers. These plastics cannot be recycled. Many try not to know these things. 

PP plastic

Polypropylene is used to make plastic ice cream cups, straws, or hangers. This plastic is especially used in the pharmaceutical industry and in making one-time products. Many people may not know, but you can recycle and use this plastic.
